Rainier Dela Cruz is a filmmaker and photographer currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois with a BFA in Film & Television Production. His skills in candid photography and symbolic filmmaking is rooted in his passion for visual storytelling. In both still and moving images, Rainier strives to capture what it means to be human—personality, emotion, authenticity, spontaneity, and a bit of fun.
When Rainier is not around a camera, he loves drawing, painting, and playing music. Basically a child in the inside, he sees beauty and tragedy within Lego minifigures, origami paper cranes, and puppets.
